LOCAL 321 MOU FOR P&DC MAIL HANDLERS
On August 20, 2010, President Hora successfully negotiated a short term Memorandum of Understanding with local USPS officials. This memorandum was negotiated because of the threat from management that PTF hours in the P&DC were going to be cut to the contractual minimum or 4 hours a pay period. This "threat" could have drastically affected our P&DC PTF member's ability to provide for their families. With this memorandum of understanding, PTF's will now be able to volunteer for details at the Denver NDC for a short period of time. While there is no guarantee on the amount of hours a PTF on this detail will receive; we are very confident it will be plenty more than the contractual minimum. |
